Marchio Ospitalità Italiana
On 12 March 2011, Da Spago Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria was awarded the certificate of Marchio Ospitalità Italiana.
Founded in 1997 by Unioncamere and ISNART (National Institute for Tourism Research), in collaboration with Fipe (Italian Federation of Public Enterprises) and the Italian Chambers of Commerce (CCIE) active throughout the world, the Marchio Ospitalità Italiana is recognised as a symbol of excellence and an honour for any Italian restaurant to receive. It is a recognition conferred to Italian restaurants for the authenticity and the quality of the food served, and recognises them as Ambassadors of Italian taste and culture.
At the end of 2012, only 39 restaurants in the UK had received the certificate of Marchio Ospitalità Italiana, with a total of just 702 certified restaurants throughout the world.

Our famous pizzas are made from traditional Italian dough, hand-stretched and cooked on the stone of our wooden oven.
